What Is A Paw Washer (aka) Paw Cleaner?
It is a cup-size container that normally has little rubber or silicone fringes or brushes inside. While there are some powered ones that spin or swash the water to clean the paw, most are simply done by donking the paw inside the cup.

It is used to clean dirt and debris off of the paw.

Why Would You Want To Use It?
Many like to use these handy little cleaners for a few reasons. First, it helps to keep mud, dirt, and sand out of your car or home. Makes for much less clean-up this way when a dog comes back from a muddy walk or a trip to the beach.

The other reason people like to use these is that it also helps with the health of your pet. The paws are what come in contact with all kinds of germs, bacteria, and salt.

By giving them a good washing when they have been exposed to such things will keep the dog from licking the paws to clean them and then ingesting such things.

Now add a small amount of the mixed epoxy to the flat cut end of the brushes that you split in half. Leave a little space at each end as you will add some hot glue there.

Add a small dot of hot glue on those bare ends to hold the brush while the epoxy drys.

Glue brush to inside side of cup

Press the brush with glue about halfway down on the inside of the cup. You want the brush to be up and down like the length of the cup.

Glue another brush on the other side of the cup

Then glue one on the opposite side of the cup. Repeat with the other two cut pieces on the other two sides of the cup.

glue brushes around inner edge

Around the top inner edge, we will glue the other four brush pieces. Use the epoxy and hot glue just as before.

This time don’t glue them so they are up and down but glue them so you see the side of them. Allow to fully dry before using.

How Do You Use A Paw Cleaner or Washer?

Simply remove the top from the cup. Add a little water to the cup. You can also add a few drops of your favorite dog shampoo or paw cleaner if you like but it is not required.

Then simply lift the dog’s paw and dip it in and out of the cup a few times until it is clean. Repeat the steps with the other paws.

It may take a few times of doing this before your dog allows you to do all four paws.

When you are done, discard the water and rinse the cup with water, and allow it to fully dry before placing the lid back on the cup.
