We have done our best to bring you a great list of places that serve dog treats but we are always updating with any new ones we find. So be sure to check back often.

While we do know some of these are not the best options to feed dogs on a regular basis, they are fine when given as treat here and there.

When we say not the best option we do not mean it is toxic for the dog. We only mean that they could lead to obesity or other health issues if given often or in large quantities. Much the same as it is for people too!

With that said, below you will find a list of places that serve treats for dogs. Most if not all of these are for free too!

Places That Serve Dog Treats

Dunkin’ Donuts:

If your four-legged friend is with you in the car when you stop for your cup of joe, Dunkin offers a free pup cup. It is a small cup of whipped cream. Depending on the store/workers they may also toss in a small donut hole to go with it.

Shake Shack:

Unlike a lot of other places, Shake Shack actually has dog items listed on its website under the tab For Dogs. They offer two different dog treat options.

First is the Pooch-ini. It is a ShackBurger dog biscuit and vanilla custard. They do say that this one is not intended for little dogs. If giving to a small dog you should just let them have a few licks.

Next is their Bag O’ Bones. This is a bag of 5 ShackBurger dog biscuits.

Starbucks:

If you are a fan of Starbucks, then you may already know they have menu items that are not on the menu. One of those items is the Puppuccino. Some also call it a pup cup. What is a Puppuccino? While the name may make you think it is something like a cappuccino, it’s not, it is simply a small cup of whipped cream.

Culver’s:

When going through the drive-thru, let them know you have a dog with you. You will be able to get a small cup of custard with a bone.

Sprinkles:

Sprinkles is a bakery with a handful of locations across the US. While they have a shippable menu, their dog treats are only available for local pick up. They offer a Pupcake that is made from butter, egg whites, buttermilk, salt, vanilla, and a sugar substitute and topped with a yogurt frosting.

Dairy Queen:

Dairy Queen also offers a pup cup. It is a small cup of vanilla ice cream. Some locations also put a dog treat in it too.

In-N-Out Burger:

They have two options here. One is the Flying Dutchman which is two beef patties with a slice of cheese. They also have the pup patty. The pup patty is just a beef patty that is salt-free.

Sonic:

Looks like Pup Cup is a popular name for a dog treat at food locations. At Sonic you can grab your dog a small Pup Cup. Because it is not well known, some locations may take a minute or two to figure out what you are asking for. But per their Facebook comment, they do offer it.

Tim Hortons:

If you have a Tim Hortons head through the drive-thru with your pup and get a Timbit.

Chick-fil-A:

When I reached out to Chick-fil-A they said it is up to each store as to if they offer treats for dogs. So if you have one in your area, be sure to contact them and see what your store offers for your pup.

Places Other Than Food Joints That Give Treats:

Banks:

Most banks these days will offer a dog bone when you come through the drive-thru with your pup. If the dog can be seen they will normally ask if you would like one. However, you can also ask them if they offer them.
