Poodle Brother Protects His Sister From Rescuers
If Hope For Paws received a phone call stating that there were two dogs living in the I-5 freeway in California, They walked right to the area to see if they could assist the pups.
The Los Angeles-based rescue organization accepts animals who are homeless or neglected, or abandoned. They also raise funds to cover their vet care and to locate these animals’ new homes. They didn’t want to let the busy freeway hinder the progress of their work.

Rescuers Eldad, the group’s creator, along with his companion Vanessa was able to find the dog hiding on the highway’s side and came up with a plan to secure the dogs.
They had to climb through the tunnels of the freeway in which the dogs were snooping.
At this moment, the dogs were living for a few weeks in the sewers of food people had left for them.

Rescuers managed to control the two curly-haired white dogs and earn their trust by feeding them hamburgers.
Although These Two Adorable Girls Were Not Fighting, They Were Nervous.
They were content for as long as they were together. It was clear that they would like to be rescued. However, they seemed to be scared. One dog even covered his smaller dog to shield it.

Their rescuers were very kind and accommodating when they had two animals.
The Dogs Sat On Piles Of Trash To Soothe The Dogs’ Brothers And Sisters And Earn Their Trust.
When the dogs realized that they could trust their rescuers, they were very excited about leaving.

Once the scary part was done, now was the time for having fun.
The Dogs Were Named Pepsi And Cola, Along With A Makeover.
The dogs were very excited and ran around after they had been bathed, and all hair was cut down.

The family who consumed Pepsi and Cola as they were slumbering in the sewers came to the rescue center to meet the dogs.
Pepsi And Cola Seemed Very Thankful To Them.
It was now time to find them the perfect home for them so that they could live happily ever after.

As per Hope for Paws’ Facebook page, the people from Maltese Rescue California gave the couple a foster home and later found them a permanent home.
